For teachers

Audience first.

This is the teaching philosophy in Astronomicca and rule no. 1 in preparation. As a consequence the workshops and outreach talks always aim for speaking the language of the audience and include media and elements that are relatable for their age group and educational level.

Science is for the curious, so tell the right story and inspire your audience!

Experience from schools and institutions across Denmark. Available in Danish and English.

If you are interested or have a request for talks that do not appear on the list, please contact me for specific wishes.

Workshops

The workshops cover topics within astronomy and physics. The most popular workshop is about stellar evolution and supernova explosions. The workshops are tailored for the age groups and include a combination of scientific education and e.g. social media for storytelling.

The workshops will be prepared as a flexible and an integrated part of your curriculum. This allows for out-of-the-box outreach activities, that do not compromise your teaching schedule.

The workshops are available in a ‘Girls Only’ version to inspire and encourage young girls to explore their interest in science.
