Majken B. E. Christensen
I am an astrophysicist, and I own Astronomicca Outreach and Science Communication.

I love astronomy, physics, programming and mathematics! I enjoy understanding and explaining complex topics by visualization and analogies. I think scientific story-telling makes the world a more fun place to live in, and I use it a lot in my blog-posts and public talks.
I am also a big fan of systems! Any type of system. Give me a messy set of data, and I immediately will apply structure and create patterns.
Over the years, I have worked with most universities in Denmark, gave more than a hundred public talks and wrote thousands of words for popular scientific articles. I have experience in academic career coaching, communication strategy and helping researchers and technical staff improve their communication toward the public, their colleagues, students and management.
On top of my degree in astrophysics, I have a project management certification from Implement Consulting Group and a management reporting diploma from Deloitte. I also have a data mining (early machine learning) diploma from SAS Institute.
